Advisor FAQ

  • 1. What are the requirements for Advisors?
    • Our Advisors are current or former executives (i.e., CEO, CIO, CFO, COO, etc.) and entrepreneurs with a proven record of success.
  • 2. Is there a financial commitment?
    • No
  • 3. How often do COBA Advisors meet with the company to whom they are assigned?
    • Quarterly
  • 4. What is the time commitment?
    • Up to three years and 25 hours per year.
  • 5. Why is COBA doing this?
    • By enabling Portfolio Companies to take their business to the next level, we benefit the metro Atlanta community as a whole, increase tax base, add jobs, and we all win!
  • 6. Who is TiE Atlanta?
    • TiE Atlanta is the local chapter of the world's largest not-for-profit organization for entrepreneurs. On the web at www.atlanta.tie.org.
  • 7. Am I eligible if I am currently consulting?
    • Of course. As long as you have served on a public or private company board, experience at the executive level or as an entrepreneur with a proven record of success.
