One of Atlanta's greatest resources, the Council of Board Advisors (COBA), is dedicated to leaders of profitable small to mid-market companies to accelerate their business' potential. As a non-profit mentoring program under TiE Atlanta, COBA has been in development for two years and has emerged as one of the most valuable tools for entrepreneurs and business owners seeking the established infrastructure to evaluate and activate growth strategies. The multi-faceted approach provides carefully matched board of advisor services with structured educational programs and peer learning. Advocates for Atlanta's entrepreneurs, COBA creates the foundation and community for leaders to guide their business through the next phases of growth.
COBA gave me the opportunity to select the best mentors/advisors for my business and was critical in matching the right mentors/advisors to take our business to the next level of success. We ran it as a formal board, which brought rigor & consistency to the management team in order to evaluate our performance quarter over quarter. The board meetings helped us to achieve better financial results every quarter. The advisory board did a great job in not giving any specific direction but instead asking the right questions to ensure our management team thought about all the critical aspects of growth. This exercise resulted in making the right decision to acquire / merge a leading UK based Oracle Procurement Business Process Service Provider called E-Three and rebrand ourselves to ENRICH.
